1. Who this applies to
This policy covers BakeStands.info, operated by Manner Media LLC, based in Hawaiสปi. It describes what information we collect from visitors and operators, how we use it, and how we protect it. By using BakeStands.info you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information we collect from operators
When you submit a listing through the claim form, we collect your business name, your name, email address, phone number, stand location, hours, and any optional content such as a description, photos, or social media links. This information is stored in our Airtable database and used to display your listing on the site.
Payment information is collected and processed by Stripe. BakeStands.info does not receive or store your credit card number, card expiration date, or CVV. Stripe provides us with a customer identifier that links your payment subscription to your listing.
3. Information we collect from visitors
We do not require visitors to create accounts or log in. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising pixels. We use Cloudflare for traffic routing and analytics, which may collect anonymized request data including IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This data is used solely for site performance monitoring and is governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy.
4. How we use operator information
Operator information submitted through the claim form is used to create and display your public listing on BakeStands.info. Your business name, address, phone number, hours, photos, and tags are displayed publicly. Your email address is not displayed publicly and is used only for account and billing communications.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Location data
Stand location coordinates are submitted voluntarily by operators using the map pin tool on the claim form. These coordinates are used to display a map pin on your neighborhood listing page. We do not collect visitor location data.
6. Third-party services
BakeStands.info uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
Stripe โ processes payments and subscription management. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
Airtable โ stores listing and operator data. Airtable's privacy policy is available at airtable.com/privacy.
Netlify โ hosts the website and runs serverless functions. Netlify's privacy policy is available at netlify.com/privacy.
Cloudflare โ provides DNS, traffic routing, and edge caching. Cloudflare's privacy policy is available at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
OpenStreetMap โ provides map tile data. OpenStreetMap's privacy policy is available at osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy.
7. Data retention
Operator listing data is retained for as long as a subscription is active. When a subscription is cancelled and a listing is deactivated, the listing data remains in our database for up to 90 days before permanent deletion. If you would like your data removed immediately, contact us and we will process the request within 5 business days.
8. Your rights
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, request a correction if that information is inaccurate, or request deletion of your information by contacting us. We will respond to all requests within 10 business days.
9. Children's privacy
BakeStands.info is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through our site, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be noted with an updated date. Continued use of BakeStands.info after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
